Hi all!

A page about me for a change!

Hubby took this photo when we were walking in the snow some weeks ago.

It was very cold but we were so enjoying the scenery and the sun.

The nameplate is from Dusty Attic.

This nameplate is a bit different from the last one I did.

For a tutorial, see the left side of this blog.

Papers are from Prima.

And some details:

For this nameplate I used two layers of the DA chippie.

Added some color, glitter and puffy paint.

little gift box

Hi there!

Today I want to share this little wooden gift box. Made it for a special dear scrapfriend.

This sweet lady lives in Australia, so this box had a long flight across the sea!

Used Pion papers and Dusty Attic flourish corners.

Hi there!

I was asked to make a black and white layout for my daughter's friend, Michelle.

It's been a while since I had made a b/w one but I really had a lot of fun making this LO!

The photo is of her and her little girl, Novelle.

She is such a cutie!

This page will be framed in a white painted frame.

Used some Bo Bunny papers and some chipboard I had in my stash forever.

The flowers were handmade from fabric and lace.

Doodled around the photo and papers.

layout with tutorial

Hi all!

Today a white page with a little touch of my fav color, turquoise.
Photo is of my sweet girl, Yiscka.
Also a tutorial of how to make the rolled nameplate.

Started the page with misting the background.

Made the yarn flowers and did some stitching.

The nameplate is from the -soon-to-be-released- chippie of Dusty Attic.

Here are some details and the tutorial for the altered nameplate.

This is what you need.

Isn't the mini mister of Dusty Attic the cutest?!!!!!

Spray the nameplate chippie with a lot of water.

Let it soak for a few minutes.

When totally soaked with water, you can peel it into three pieces.

Cut two of them in half.

Roll them while they are still wet.

Let them dry.

Glue all the pieces together like this.

Paint the chippie with gesso.

Now you have a good basic coating and it's ready to be altered as you wish.

Kept mine very simple to fit the page.

Only inked the edges and added two brads.

That's it for today.

Today a layout of my girls. They are so totally different, but oh so loved!

The flourish is one of the soon-to-be-released chippie from Dusty Attic.

Also the little key and keyhole are new ones.

Again I misted the background and did some stitching.

The border is painted with gesso.

Here are some details:

The flourisch was painted with gesso, added with some micro beads while the paint was still wet.

Inked the edges for the finishing touch.

For the flowers I used some puffy paint.

To match the metal round charm with the page, I used two colors of embossing powder.

Aren't that little key and keyhole the cutest?!

Painted them with gesso and inked the edges.

wooden book box

Today I want to share a wooden book box I made.

Since my girls were little, they give me sweet little notes.

Now they are older it's not that often any more, but sometimes they still surprise me

with their writings.

This box was made to keep those little treasures.

Painted the chippies with gesso and used some ink to give the book an old look.

The name plate and the mini Fleur de Lis are some of the new releases from Dusty Attic.

I found that gorgeous white frame at a local home decor store.

Papers are from Pion Designs.

Greetings from a very cold and white Holland! (lots of snow today!)

Old and new layout

Made this page for my FIL. He already had a framed layout on his wall which I made when I just started scrapping. Thought it was time to make him a new one with his favorite colors.

The gorgeous mailbox is one of the new releases from Dusty Attic.

Isn't it fun to see the old page?!!

When I first started scrapping, I always used a patterned paper for my background and kept it simple.

Now I always scrap on a white page and love to use glimmermist, paint, gesso or stamps on the background. With all the gorgeous embellies on the market, I find myself adding more and more!!LOL!

Hi all!

Today I want to share a layout made with one of the new releases from Dusty Attic.

Just love this dress form!

Photo is of Tessa, my 'little' angel.

Misted the background and stitched the little circles.

The lace for the dress form was cut out of a legging.

The word 'angelic' is also from DA.

Had a lot of fun making this page!

And some details:

Just love to add some metal charms on my pages!

I have a box to store my metal embellishments and it really is my little treasure box!

Isn't that little clothing hanger the cutest?!!!!

Punched the butterflies out of the Prima papers.

I only added some glitter to the DA dress form.

And finally: no angel without her wings.

Didn't have real wings, but these Prima corners also works for me!

Also another card:

I'm trying to make at least one card when I finished a page.

I found it very handy to keep up my stock of cards.

For this one I used the new mini scrolls from Dusty Attic.

The metal 'get well soon' was found at a local home decor store.

Today a layout from my oldest daughter Tessa who recently turned 21.

Oh my....21 already..I'm getting old!LOL!!! Tomorrow is the big party!

And some details:

For the background I used some gesso, mixed with some embossing powder.

This created a lovely sandy effect.

The gesso and powder dries very quickly so no need to wait very long to begin with the page.

Crocheted the flowers. For the little ones I used baker's twine from Seweasy.

The scroll is from Dusty attic.

Papers are from Pion ( just love these papers!).

Corners, shutter and the tulle flowers are from Prima.

This detail actually inspired me to make these two cards:

Can you believe that! WOW! I'm so excited and I just can't wait to work with all of the gorgeous DA products! I'm proud to be a member of this team talented ladies!

winter birdhouse

Hi everyone!

Today I want to share this little birdhouse. Had so much fun making it!

I thought it would be a nice x-mas/winter decoration in my house and it matches perfectly with

the white canvas I had made earlier.

And some details:

Painted the bird with white acrylic paint and put some micro beads in the wet paint.

Inked the edges.

Just love these little pinecones!

For the roof I used some fun fibre and lace ribbon.

Thought this had a nice wintery effect.

I used pom pom ribbon for the edge of the roof.

Think this will be my last project before x-mas.

Lots to do before the x-mas weekend: work, shopping, cleaning, you know....all the fun stuff(NOT!)

But there is some good news!

I have a week off from work next week, so guess what this girl had planned:

SCRAPTIME!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

So looking forward to that!

sweet memories

Hello everyone!

Today a layout of my mom....miss her daily but I'm so lucky to have lots of sweet memories!!

And some details:

For all the Dutch ladies: That gorgeous heart and star are from Blokker.

The wooden flowers are from Pipoos. Painted them with white acrylic paint.

Misted the background with two colors and did some stitching.

Yesterday I had a great day with Gerry. Lots of chatting, but also managed to make three cards! That's a record for me! You just can't have enough cards, right?!!

Hello everyone!

It's cold and dark outside, a perfect day to scrap!

Today a summer page with a photo of my scrappy friends, Paulien, Romy, Gerry, Corina and Susan.

We had a great and fun day together and even did some scrapping!LOL!!!

For this page I misted the background and crocheted some flowers. Used puffy paint for the little dress forms.

Hello everyone!

Today I want to share a layout about my youngest daughter,Yiscka.

I was totally inspired by the big wooden heart I found at a local home deco store.

Also fell in love with these little pine cones. Found these at a local flower shop.

Inspiration is everywhere, isn't it?

Made the flowers using a small tool from Clover, Hana-Ami flower loom.

Misted the background with two colors and added some metal embellies.
